Hi everyone, I just got my very own AN1X 2 days ago. The synth is in rough shape but mostly everything works. First I changed out the battery and factory reset, but it seems that control pot #4 does not work correctly. Being somewhat handy with a soldering iron, I checked the pot out, but it seems the damage is inside. Does anyone know of where buy a replacement pot? I've checked out ebay for Alps Japan pots but while I find some similar looking, I'm not sure which one will actually fit correctly. Also, the pot caps (covers, nob covers, whatever they're called) are all messed up (someone tried to crazy glue I think) and mismatched. Does anyone know where one would aquire a new set or perhaps suggestions for an improved set? I've just started reading through the manual and I have a ways to go. If I just want to program the synth with it's own controls will pot #4 be an issue? I'm used to menu diving to get my sounds as I still use an SY77, Alesis Micron and DSI Mopho. Other than that, I look forward to using this synth. I own a polysix and Arp Odyssey and I have to say the AN1X sound is impressive. It may look and feel like a toy compared to Yamaha's other synths, but DAMN that sound is very convincingly analog. Thanks!
