The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi all

I have Windows XP SP2 running under VMWare.  I have a Yamaha UX16 MIDI/USB interface and AN1X Editor v1.1.  The problem is that the editor keeps freezing whenever I try to do something in it (even if the MIDI interfaces are set to Soundblaster).  It freezes right away when I try to set midi in and out to USB (UX16)  I installed MidiOX in Vmware and that works just fine (both interfaces in/out set to UX16).  I ensured that only Windows has access to the USB device and not OSX so i dont think its a conflict.

Any ideas?  I would like to get AN1X edit working to backup the patches before I replace the low battery in the synth....
