Re: [AN1x] Instruments that can host a Yamaha PLG-50 AN board

2011-05-24 by Jeff

Hello !
it is a ROM based synth (Yamaha AWM2 samples), multimode filter, 64 note
polyphony and 16 voices (+ 1 : the plg card if any). It has some knobs
and sliders allowing some real time tweaking.... I don't know much more
details. There is a bigger version (88 keys, 2 plg card slots) called S80.
Look at : http://www.vintagesynth.com/yamaha/s30.php
Probably cheap second hand, cheaper than a CS6x which is some rare bird.
Cheers.
J.F.
