There's a reason this is called the "kamikaze method": if you
accidentally cross two connections on one of the printed circuit boards,
you may well blow up (part of) the AN1x. Replacement would be difficult
and expensive - and you'd still lose your patches.

So be very sure that you are comfortable with doing this.
