Rene, Use the Scene Ctrl buttons (above the Ribbon Controller) to toggle between the two scenes in a Dual Voice; then use the Rx Ch under UTILITY/SETUP to set individual MIDI Channels for each Scene in your Dual Voice. Your AN1x should now respond on both MIDI Channels. It's important to understand how the Layer options for Voices work when using the AN!x as a bitimbral tone generator - otherwise you'll get unexpected results. Dual Mode and Split Mode are the obvious choices to begin with. regards, Jon --- In AN1x-list@egroups.com, shiva <aragorn1998@g...> wrote: > well, thanks alot for that info. but you are one step ahead :) > i meant, like : > channel 1 : instrument (patch) #1 > channel 2 : instrument (patch) #2 > etc. > right now i can only have all 16 channels with 1 instrument. or switch > my Yamaha to another channel but then i hear only one instrument.. well, > i am a midi rookie. so :) > > René > > > PinheadX wrote: > > > > > I was right....select the "Dual" mode and you'll get the 2 scenes > > working on > > different channels.:-) > > > > PinheadX. > > > > > > > yes, i got it working :))) great thing. and thanks to you all. > > > now i have to figure out how to use multi instruments.. i can use > > > different channels > > > but the instrument is always the same. i hope i ll figure that out > > :) > > > > > > René > > > > > > > > > PinheadX wrote: > > > > > > > > hi there all. > > > > > > > > Hi! > > > > > > > > > i got myself a used Yamaha an 1x.
