software? no thanks. I use softwares for recording, mixing, mastering... but for audio only. when I want to play, I want no software around. I want no pc around. anyway, I have no room left also because I just can't let the synths I have now to go... they're all functional in my music, and those that I'm not using very much right now, I know I will be using them in the future... if that would prove to be wrong, I may be selling something of course, but not now... I've let some synths go in the past of course, but those I have right now, I know they will likely stay there, because each one has some features and some sound I can only get with it... I have some room on my desk anyway... guess what? an ultranova will fit there perfectly ahahah Fabio --- In AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com, Peter Korsten <peter@...> wrote: > > Op 26-9-2010 14:40, somethingkillingyou schreef: > > > the point is that I don't *need* another synth, I have virtually no more room for synths in fact, and in theory I have most of synthesis methods covered... but I wouldn't mind another VA, for some reasons (osc sync, PWM, fm, etc.)... then, I could think of a solution for the 'no more room' problem... :) > > If you have virtually no space for another synth, maybe you need a > virtual synth? > > Mind, I don't like them myself, but I do know people who have gone from > all hardware to largely software. > > - Peter >
