The original company failed and has been bought by another..."corporate adventures", don't mind. You're right Fabio. One of Rick Wakeman's workhorses is a GEM Pro Mega, obviously he does not matter if it is made here or there, even by a company synonym of "cheap electronic organs". There is a lot of legends and mythology about the early instruments and the companies that made them.... > anyway I think they're different enough sonically... Right. Sometimes it remembers me my Red Sound Elevata (another synth killed by the reviews critics....). The AN1x was designed having the Prophet 5 in mind, some sounds are very close. A friend of mine had "the real thing" a lot of years ago.... not very reliable too, unless you have the last issue. > I think they can complement each other very well in the end... Yes. Because any instrument, even electronic, has its own limitations (despite the claims of their manufacturers..) a good keyboard player has to mix different sound textures from different synths into its own sounds.
