The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi everyone, 

This is my first post here as I just got a used An1x. 

When I first turned it on and started going through the presets, I realised that on the poly single sounds, after I had played a few notes, there was a gap when no sound would be produced when I pressed down on the keys. Then it would resume after a few seconds. This would be recrified if I turned the layer from single to dual but I'm looking for a permanent solution. 

The AN1x hadn't been used in years and I imagine that's part of it. Do you know if there's something simple I can check on the circuitboard? I'm not familiar with electronics at all.
