There's all this horsepower out there and the new modern "analog" synthesizers are adding stuff like 8 bit digital waves that sounded awful back in the 80s. Why can't we have a few cool sound effects thrown in: crowd samples, some bird noises, a few sheep, monkeys, or something interesting and weird, and get the chance to run them through a spring reverb, a ring modulator etc.
Yeah, you can do it on a computer easy enough, but it would be fun to throw some weirdness out there during a long live jam.
