Hi, I am posting on behalf of a dear friend of mine, MarcE, who, as any of you who own an EX5 will know, has created many fine patches over the years and has freely made them available to the wider synth community. MarcE himself is quite ill these days, and although we live many miles apart (Marc in Belgium, myself in Wales) I do what I can to help and inspire him. For his 50th birthday, I created his own website <http://www.marce-music.com> to act as a repository for his EX5 patch libraries, which have not been fully available since the demise of AMPFEA and also for the musical tributes that the EX5Tech <http://www.ex5tech.com> community made for MarcE between 2001 and 2005. In a reply to the EX5Tech Post <http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=0\ 00215> wishing MarcE a happy birthday, he mentioned that he had some AN1x libraries that he wished to make available. These are now available on MarcE's website <http://www.marce-music.com/> for free download. See the following EX5Tech Post <http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=22&t=0\ 00043> for details. There's some amazing patches in these collections, which MarcE and I hope that you will all enjoy. As I posted on EX5Tech these patches include some very nice CS80 emulations ala the Vangelis "organic" style! I've lost quite a few hours over the past few days just messing with them. As I mentioned, MarcE is quite ill these days, but still programs when he can, and loves to hear feedback regarding his patches and music. So if you check these patches out and like them, then please post some feedback/messages of support here, or on EX5Tech and I'll make sure that MarcE receives them. Cheers Derek [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
