The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hello all,

I'm just wondering about the AN1x backup battery and have a couple of
questions.

Firstly, is there any documentation around on how to change the
battery? The manual mentions getting in touch with Yamaha service
centre, although I don't think that's an option these days. Besides,
I'm reluctant to have to send my synth away at the hands of couriers!

Secondly, what kind of lifespan can I expect from the battery?

I don't have any low power problems as yet, I'm just curious.
