don't worry too much about your lost power supply.
All you need is *any*  12V - 700 mA rated* DC* supply, like the stock 
one (PA3B) . The *"+"* must be wired to the *center pin*, the external 
sleeve to the ground. This supply does not need to be regulated, because 
the voltage regulation circuits are inside the AN1x itself. Yamaha 
supplies are not obviously better than unbranded ones, but they're 
surely more expensive. You can find a lot of such aftermarket supplies 
"off the shelf" in any electronics shop at lower prices. Or even at home 
for free: unused toys, cell phones, CD players, laptop computers, 
battery powered tools or kitchen equipment... One of my own synths 
(Kawa\ufffd K1) is now supplied by a discarded cell phone battery charger 
without any problem. Cost = 0 and 5' to replace the phone battery jack 
by the Kawa\ufffd jack.
About voltage and current:
Don't exceed 12 V, but you can use any lower voltage as far as it works 
properly. Don't go too low because the internal regulators ICs need 
enough voltage drop between the input ant the output pins to work.Too 
much voltage = excessive heating and possible failure. Too low = poor 
voltage regulation, leading to output humming noise, unwanted sound 
distorsion or \ufffdP crashes. Let's say 10V mini, 12V max .
The current value can exceed 700 mA,  it should be considered as a 
minimum value. If you find a 1 amp rated supply it does not matter at 
all as far as its voltage is in the good range.
So both models you mention are convenient. My own preference would go to 
the bigger one (PA 5D), but, once again, you will find its unbranded 
sister at half the price....
