The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hello,

i'm using a yamaha an1x as a master keyboard connected by midi i/o
to emagic amt8.
everything works fine but i was wondering, why the an1x does send
midi out all the time.
as soon as i power on the an1x, i can see the midi in led flashing
on the amt8.
an1x seems to send contantly midi out data without playing any key
and without playing a sounds with arp hold.

it looks like a 'beat counter' cause the led (amt8 midi in) flashes
in rhythmical order all the time no matter what i press/play on the
an1x.

well, it's not a problem and it doesn't upset anything else so far,
but i was wondering if anyone knows, how i can stop an1x sending
midi out data all the time without playing any note.
