Just for the fun of it, I removed one of the knobs from my DMX6Fire Breakout box. The D-shape fitted the shaft on the AN1x just fine. The click motion still works (since there's still plenty of clearing left for the click motion to work on those 8 assignable knobs). The knob fitted fine on my matrix selector as well... So, what is the stopper for using general D-shape knobs? Besides the size of the D-shape ofcourse... it has to fit over the shaft, but otherwise, hmm? Generic ones should work just fine. I'm not sure about the sizes and all, but simple measurements go a long way, in case you have a nice website with shapes. I've been thinking about replacing all my knobs (since I'm missing 1 knob, and another one has a broken D on the inside, so it can't quite force the click motion of the knob, since it just slides further along the shaft)... but that would quite clearly "un-AN1x-ify" my AN1x :P > Jimmy > Kind regards, Gerald [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
