Re: [SPAM] Re: [AN1x] My AN1x arrived & I need replacement keys

2006-09-16 by Bob S.

I know, it was a shame. The seller put into a nice plastic oversized Roland hard case, but with no padding, no foam, no bubblewrap, with that large heavy AC adapter just positioned/in direct contact with the AN1x in front of the keys, pointy side facing the keys. Shipping was from Canada to the US and during the transport, the prongs on the AC adapter broke several keys and scratched up the front. The shipper (UPS) really was not at fault.

The seller and I settled at a much lower than original price and I kept the keyboard to attempt the repair.

I will appreciate any assistance as I try to make the AN1x whole again.....

Who determined that it was due to bad packaging? If it's the shipping company is it possible that they destroyed it as they've done countless times before and are just blaming the seller to avoid paying a claim? I lost an Ensoniq ESQ1 in an Anvil type case, they said it was bad packaging but the two fork lift holes in this expensive case told me otherwise, I knew the seller and he didn't have a forklift...

Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the person you bought the synth from
to fix the problem their poor packaging has caused?
