Hi Bob !
don't worry too much about that : only some early machines are affected 
with these unwanted noises. Mine is second hand (from 97) , i don't have 
any noise problem, hot or cold !
This is a very interesting machine, both controller keyboard and vintage 
oriented "pseudo analog" synth , with real time control on most 
parameters. Okay it is not labelled Nord Lead or Access, it has less 
knobs to tweak, but play it, listen and ... tell us !
