Thanks for your reply. This is bad news as I am not prepared to send 
the AN1x back to be repaired as its nearly a 10 year old instrument 
and no doubt I will be charged alot of money for the repairs as the 
warranty has probably ran out.

I am feeling p***** off has the guy on eBay sold me the AN1x for 
£250 UK POUNDS.

I will live with the pops and clicks as its only noticable when the 
synth is first powered on after being switched of for a while. After 
a few minutes the pops and clicks disappear.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
