I set the ribbon controller Z to a high resonance, set the X to filter, 
push both scene buttons so I can morph the sounds. Then I can play a 
normal lead sound, hit the ribbon controller the synth self oscillates 
and I can play notes by rolling my finger. Then roll the mod wheel so 
I'm between two patches in this very out of tune setting and start 
waiiling on the pitch bend which I've got set on dive bomb--2 octaves. 
The guitar player just stops what he's doing and stares. Run all that 
through a tube amp at an outdoor gig and you've got a wonderful sound.

Here's some heresey. I'm getting to like the VA sound better than the 
analog sound. It's ruder, and it cuts through a wall of guitars like 
nothing else.
