I don't know if any of you guys has attempted to make the interaction between Buchla and Serge more amicable and diplomatic. I have owned special adaptor cables with 1/8" plugs on one side and bananas on the other, but they were unreliable and noisy, so I committed the unspeakable deed of changing some of the jacks on the Serge to Switchcraft 1/8", to better link with the Bookla audio network. These M-modules are the Wave Processor and the CV Processor. I must point out that the Egres site has the wrong image for the latter, in case you want to look at the graphics on this site for reference. This module actually contains a Dual Voltage Processor, a Scaling Processor, an Active Processor, a Dual Comparator and a Schmidt Trigger. This scheme has made interaction with the Booch much easier, and I have obtained wonderful results by processing the output of my 258v's through these modules. Beautiful, rich PWM can be had with the comparators (best I've ever heard, IMHO), plus the unique waveforms obtained from the Wave Multiplier and Triple Waveshaper, not to mention the Ring Modulator. Of course, they also have the voltage processing modules which harmonically interact with the Buck. Cosmetically, they are of course very similar to the Don's creations, and fit perfectly in his boats, but I also have a dedicated boat for them (2.5 in. deep), with the black PS interface/distributor and a PS2.

The original price for these items is $2k for the Wave Proc., $1600 for the Voltage one, $300 for the boat, $300 for the PS and $100 for the distributor. If my arithmetic doesn't fail me, that's $4K altogether. I want $3000 for the whole system. I'd much rather sell it whole, but if nobody comes forth, I might choose to split and negotiate. If you don't want them with the Switchcraft phone jacks, I can send you the original bananas and they can be easily switchedwith the aid of a soldering iron. I honestly don't have the time to do the switch; that's why I'm selling them at such a lower price.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE.

Pictures upon request.

You know me. Straight shooter. No bullshit.
