Re: new 200e modules

2008-11-20 by kkonkkrete

Here's an idea for a new module that would help people building smaller systems:
Top half would be the top half of the 255, bottom half would be the bottom half of
the 256e. That would handle both 'flavours' of CV processing in a single panel, albeit
in lesser quantities. Sort of the same philosophy as the 206e: combining elements of
the 225e and 227e in a single compact panel.

I would also love to see some form of delay and spring reverb module (I can imagine
these squeezed together into a single panel, kind of like the 190 or 275, but with
some kind of Wilson Analogue Delay or something of that ilk in there too). As it
stands, I think that is the biggest basic sonic element missing from the 200e
compared to previous B&A systems.

Having said this, I also wholeheartedly support Don Buchla coming up with whatever
the hell he feels like to pursue his own singular vision of the instrument!
