You can plug audio into the EXT socket....there is a level control that
allows input level in control on the back....this is a modulation
source in the Sub Oscillator....I have plugged a pzm mic in here to
modulate the CS80 with voice like a monoband vocoder.......another neat
use is play a CS80 into a leslie.....then mic the horn or rotor with
the mic and input it back into the CS80.....the effect is a neat
alternating distortion/clean effect (amp)at the speed the rotors or
horns are turning.....It makes the amplitude modulation through the
leslie more distinct and the distortion is quite nice and at your
fingertips....
However you must use the right volume pedal in the controller input for
the Wah EXP pedal.....It uses a lightbulb and photocell to read the foot
position.and the voltage to power the light is in the line.....I have
blown a ground rail in the past when my pedal jack shorted....inside the
TRS male jack....It cost about $250.00 to get fixed and that was ten
years ago.......
