maybe harmfull with a screwdriver...but .I have never had a problem
touching the back of the 2 foot pot with my finger.....my body acts as a
resistor in parallel to the actual resister circuit...This is how its
done in the Yamaha service depots....John Brennan of Yamaha (Ottawa)and
Lindsay (edmonton Audio Works) both showed me the procedure...their
reccomendation was to cover the key bed(metal) with a towel so I wouldnt
conduct between the boards and the keybed.......
