Hey Max ... there were adjustments on the ringmod (PRA)card for which affectedthe time factor in the eg on the ringmod......however when you listen tomusic that has been recorded in a Studio, it was common to vari the speedof a multitrack recorder..... If you recorded at 30 IPS and played backat 15 IPS... you could enhance and solidify the low end of keyboard padsbased on the bias of the tape used....you could gain an octave further32' at the expence of the 2' and all your envelopes would be twice as long........

HiallDoes anyone know theVangelis piece called "See you later" ? I have a question about it. Ifyou listen to the track you happen to hear a CS-80 ringmodulation sweepat low key: well the fact is that the envelope cycle lasts very long comparedto the usual values of the original envelope , you can hear 3-4 secs attackand over 15 secs decay...but there is the point: is that sweep coming froma CS-80? If yes does anyone know if such a mod on the RM envelope was possibleat the times?Thx for yourreply!
