Ok, So I got the first models in and they are close but not quite the same, I think. There is a voltage drop of about 100mv more than the originals and they are slightly brighter and whiter - this is very subtle. They also run a tiny bit hotter. It could be that the ones in my CS-80 are old and don't have the output that they had when they were new. I have tested the new ones extensively and they seem OK. The IG00157 doesn't get hot either.
Does anybody know anything about the IG00157? What are the specs? If the specs confirm that these bulbs are OK, then we are good to go and I can order a couple thousand.
Also, before I make a move, there is another bulb model that I want to check out first because it could be a better fit; it draws a third less current and has a third less lumens. Unfortunately, I might need to order 10,000 of them and wait 3 months. Ha Ha
Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
