Thanks for the compliments, Max (blushes). My love for the monster beast, with the richness of beautiful sounds that comes out of it had a LOT to do with my musical inspiration on those compositions I sent -- as you surmised with Vangelis and his compositions. I bet Vangelis would thoroughly agree: different instruments inspire different compositions. How could I play my CS-80 tunes like the ones I sent you on the piano!!?? They would never fly. The translation/transcription wouldn't make sense. The sonic auras of a CS-80 and a piano are worlds apart.

Anyway, If any of you wish to hear a bit of what I sent, there's an mp3 on the arturiaCS-80 site, that I can upload on to this group's Files section. It's a 30 second sample from just some live one-track scribblings of mine that a friend called "Stratus". The whole piece is just under 22 minutes long, so it kind of meanders a bit, much like I'm doing now, so I'll sign off for now.

Sincerely,

Tommy
