So if I play all the 8 voices avaliable get a long Sustain 1, will any voice be stolen if all the voices are still sustaining? I came to know it's not, but can't understand why, of course anybody can refute my statement...

Hey Max....
sustain I ....where the release order of the oscillators also play in effect..
the held notes(key still on) have a priority as does the last note off (release) priority (key off)....
so the earliest note off would be the first stolen osc once all 8 have cycled
the sustain pedal is not a hold pedal.....It just toggles the added release time....
pitch after time of release is no longer modulation by external modulations (like portamento, RM EG, ribbon, aftertouch,) the exception is the upper and lower Key control which can effect a releasing oscillators volume and filter with new note on events in other zones....

Subject: [yamahacs80] Doubt about KAS
Hi guys
I'd like to ask something about the KAS working: does anybody know why in Sustain 1 there is no voice stealing?
Thanks for your replies.
