While we´re at it, I bought my CS80 in France back in the year 2000, on a very hot day in September. I managed to heave it into the trunk of my Volkswagen Polo (recently deceased) and drove home from Alsace. That was one of the greatest days in my life, especially because the seller sold it to me and not to one of the hundred other folks who rang him up before I could collect it!

Great souvenirs isn't it.
When I got mine in '79, I put it on the back seat of my Montego '69.you know the turquoise one with the black vinyl top that i had got for 300.00$ (can). that was one of the best days in my life.
Merry Christmas to you all and a great 2010

I have always enjoyed the same luck with both my 84corrola and
89camry....

the back of the back seat will come off with a couple of bolts....

The CS80 slides into the trunk of the 4 door sedans perfectly... ..

Heh... this reminds me... when I first purchased my CS80 back in '79,
I
brought it home from the music store in the only car I had at the
time,
in the back seat of a '72 VW Beetle. I kid you not, and I still don't
know how we accomplished it. But there must have been a strong will to

do it! Of course, that was before I got the matching anvil case for
it.
(Then it had to go on the truck with the PA and lights gear).
