I have a Yamaha E70U (the "U" was later model of the E70), that is
basically two 7-voice CS80's for each 61-key manual in an organ body.
You can check out FlametopFred videos of the E70 on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cseiCpPZdDkThe DK-40 did not use the Yamaha Pulse Analog Synthesis System (PASS)
which came about 7 years later with the CS80 and the E70 and E70U. The
Yamaha PASS architecture was developed based on lessons learned from
building the GX1 in discrete components.
I hope that this helps!

family, right? on a related note, what models of early yamaha "organs"
are closest to the gx-1?
