A man after my own heart - David. Good on you sir..!!!
You obviously like a good challenge, just like me...;^)

I had a Polymoog Synth once many years ago.. a LOT wrong with it.
(Bought it from 10cc- the band - Rubber Bullets..! .. along with a
Minimoog - for £300 the lot - including a flightcase for the Mini)

Divider chips..(??) on a board I seem to remember - got a spare board
with replacement chips - but it was double sided... and I couldn't for
the life of me get a chip out without breaking it in half.

When I eventually heard that they weren't actually that good a machine
when they were new, I gave up...

I ended up selling it to a bloke who had three already and was trying
to make a good one out of the FOUR - now that he had mine.

Got all my money back I have to say - and that was in the days before
the internet and eBay etc... so I look upon it as a Minimoog and
flightcase for free.

...;^)
Cheers,
TOM
