Stephen, if you're reading, owning one of these and not playing it out of fear of breaking it is a crime against synthesizers ;) Even though I don't necessarily blame you. Even with a half-willing tech on my side, I'm not exactly fearless, but I bought this thing as a musical instrument primarily and I intend to use it as such. If it were strictly an investment, I would box it up and hide it for 15 years but even then, there's no guarantee that it would power up the next time I plugged it in so... You know, I'm alive, the CS80 is alive, we're in the same room together... might as well do what comes natural! har har...

Hi Ted,

well, I ∗did∗ actually record an entire album (and a half) with the CS80 ∗before∗ I had a tech overhaul it. In his words it was amazing to him that I actually managed to record the music the way I did because the CS was so badly out of alignment... anyway, we just didn´t manage to make one voice board in Channel One behave the way it should (which was quite annoying). I should be playing it more often, indeed, but on the other hand I´m making completely different music at the moment so that the CS80 resides nicely in my living room.

Stephen
