So how much overlap in the capability to generate basic
sounds is there between the GX-1 and CS-80? Not counting
any obviously lacking features they didn't port from former
to latter.
I haven't been able to get those Village Ghettoland strings
programmed yet. The string presets and global controls sure
don't get you there. I would assume the CS-80 should be able
to do that sound spot on - any advice?
Disclaimer: I know it's considered lame to ask how to program X
patch on Y pop hit.
Perhaps it'd be useful to have a section of templates people could
post of some cool sounds, in addition to posting sound samples?
Given the limited memory storage, imprecision in replicating
slider settings, and presence of the global controls, it's not
like anybody's CS-80 is going to turn into a preset machine.
