Here you can see where the 8 gate wires, plus power and ground, attach
to the KAS board (ribbon cables in lower right). I just tapped the
TR1-TR8 outputs of the KAS board. I didn't want to attach the LEDs
directly, since it could be too much load.

I suppose you could put the circuits on the M boards, attached to the TR
inputs. I think it was easier, and more easily removable, to have it all
on one separate board.
