Hi all,

before I turn to some other auction forum on the internet I thought I should give some fellow CS80 user the chance to get ∗the∗ ultimate chorus unit for his CS. Due to some bills that want to be paid (my CS80 will be fixed in a few days time, and my Prophet 5 needs some attention, too) I need to let go of my spare unit.

I bought it a couple of years ago at 1,500 DM (roughly 750 Euros nowadays) and this about what I´m hoping to get for it. Cosmetically, it´s ∗not∗ in perfect shape as it has some light scratches on the front and the metalbox it sits inside (well, this part gets hidden in the rack anyway so I never bothered). Also, the original rack ears have been missing right from the start but my brother-in-law made some replacements out of aluminium which serve the purpose well (I never found the time to do a proper paintjob on them so they´re still not perfect-looking). Technically, it works very well and sounds just as good as a Dimension D can sound (and this has always been the most important issue for me). It just is ∗that∗ sound no other unit -- let alone the modelled ones -- will ever be able to match.

Like I said I´m hoping to get something in the 750 Euro neighbourhood. Shipping within Europe should be something around 20 Euros when using Hermes, overseas it could be slightly more expensive (if you´re interested I can figure out shipping rates). Like I said, I´m ∗hoping∗ to get this much for it but if you believe my hopes are too high, just make me an offer. First come, first serve. No trades, though.
