Subject: Less drama

Tonight I mapped out what traces need repair and what connections I
need to make. I have the parts ready (battery holder, diode,
battery, wire, solder, etc) to work on the KLM367 tomorrow night,
however I would feel better about the operation if those who have
trace maps would confirm some connections for me.

Please pardon my lack of knowledge in properly identifying the legs
of the ICs. I hope my descriptions are clear. I will refer to the
legs of the ICs by counting the legs down from the top of the IC and
noting whether its on the left or right side of the IC. The IC and
board orientation are such that the battery is on the left side, as
if you were looking at it mounted inside the PolySix.

Are the following paths correct:

left leg 15 of IC 22 connects to right leg 4 of IC 28

left leg 16 of IC 28 connects to left leg 3 of IC 28

left leg 3 of IC 9 connects to 7th pin of that 7-pin connector just
below C40

Does the right leg 4 of IC 31 need to connect to both right leg 9 of
IC 22 and left leg 5 of IC 32, or can I just connect it to IC 22?

There are a few more traces that I need to repair but are rather
clear to me where they go. Aside from the corrosion I reported
earlier on the the solder points by the 10-pin connector at the top
left, it seems the extent of the damage was limited to the traces
around IC 31. So, as the kids say, I'm cautiously stoked.

Thanks for all of your help thus far. I offer good karma and that
happy, fuzzy feeling of helping a total stranger in return for your
time!
