Hi all, I recently bought a malfunctioning Polysix and after having a
look inside I noticed the battery had already been removed and there
was some minor battery leakage on the circuit board.
Well, I was just about to take the circuit board out and begin
repairing traces when I noticed a loose connector between 2 of the
circuit boards. I plugged it in properly, put the hood back down,
switched it on and it all worked perfectly!! All I had to do then
was clean the circuit board & install a new battery.
So my message to anyone with a malfunctioning synth is to check all
the connectors are properly fastened before doing any serious repair
work!!!
