I know this is a old message but my p6 does this to. after the p6 is
on for about 5 minutes it works fine, but until it warms up, the patch
will start getting random changes weather it be a eg setting, filter
setting or any other setting storable in ram. if I push the program
but to reload the same program that was getting glitchy, it will then
sound fine again. after 5 minutes or so, no more problems.
maybe the p6 is like a old car, you need to let her warm up a bit
before you drive her ;-)

(not all) have been changing randomly, sometimes while I play it! It's
like it was being activated by a random patch generator. Often I'd
change patches and change back and it would be fine. After warming up
it seemed to stop doing it. Yesterday, it seemed fine without doing
that at all.

modulation and no effects), so I thought maybe something was sending
bizarre midi messages. I do have the Polysix's filter controllable
from an external midi control source and it did seem the filter was
the main thing being affected, but I turned the P6 off and on and made
sure it was not receiving midi from the patchbay and it was still
doing the random patch thing. But after warming up it stopped.
