Start with Stackridge, Pinafore Days (Man in Bowler Hat), Friendliness, Later recordings are different, less fun I think. New recordings are worthy. Something... is a great song.

I agree; one of my favorites too !

Their last release "A Victory for Common Sense" (2009) is also worth checking out.

......Stackridge's God Speed the Plough.  Produced by George Martin, this is a favourite of mine with a big 'tron choir moment in the middle.  Grand stuff from the days of yawning chasms of reverb and fleshed out arrangements.  TriffiK me thinks.
