Apart from the typing error in my last post, I think Gino is making a valid point as everything seems to dissolve exchanges of ribald wit but without the wit or the ribaldry!  There are many absent friends and it would be good to entice them back.  I am sure some are watching.

There is too much surface noise in this group.

There are lots of places to go on the net to spew forth on politics, religion, guns etc...  Probably, even at grade level.

I have seen other groups hijacked by off med psych patients, drunks, druggers, home schooled intellectuals and others who make the traffic on the group go down to almost nothing because nothing on the subject is being discussed without being sullied (ruined, fucked up).

There are smart people who are turning away from this group because it is veering into useless territory.

You all know what I mean and most of you know better when you are not high or whatever.

Sorry for the vent ..
