Thanks Martin, I will probably give it a try but I do really like the current sound, normally Carole leaves the room when I play but when I came up with that sound, she said "that sounds nice, can I have a go?"

The reason they don't sound like BJH, your long term goal Mark, is there is too much top and and too much of the original signal.  You need the reverb to cut off around 10/12k max and drastically reduce the dry content.  You will then sound like Woolly!  That's if you still want to of course.
