Hi all- eBay has a Novatron T550 listed from Germany. I would give a link, but it never seems to work as such. Rare, to be sure, but the T550 looks fairly mint. Asking $12,000.00 US. 2 tape frames, odd selections (in my opinion). Has a youtube video. In the video, the adjusting screws look like they are adjusted all the way down (the eBay ad shows them normal height). The resulting sound has lots of keyclick, and considerable hum. Wonder what that means, is the hum from the amp, cable, or the 'tron? Probably worth it as a collectable, but far too rich for my bones. ...drooling... -Bruce D. |
