i'll have a peek under there tomorrow and report back.
as i mentioned previously, one of the CMC-10 brackets
is still in place. and yeah - good to see heat sinks
mounted on the proper orientation. you can see in the
picture that there is a sort of "shield" between the
card and the tapes behind it [a glimpse of the lovely
streetly frame in the bakground].

hmmm...
when did the SMS-3 become the "new replacement" card?
i think that #1220 still had the CMC-10 when it was
brought to me for repair/updating.

i LOVE when that happens.
#1220 lives in maryland now. my friend purchased it from
the original owner that he was in a band with years ago.

i had an opportunity to purchase the sequential pro-one
that has the next serial to mine - we both bought them
at the same store on the same day, but when he offered
it to me a few years later i didn't have the $$ :(
