Interesting about that. The Winer's bass player at the time wasSteve Lang who'd moved on from my band, Devotion, brought Schizoid Manwith him -- one of our staples when we were still doing covers. MilesGoodwin thought Steve knew the entire lick in the middle. He only knewthe bass part. Our sax player, Simon Stone went over to their rehearsalhall in Montreal and taught it to them. They did play it rather well,though, didn't they? Jerry Mercer, the drummer, was a huge fan of KingCrimson.

Too bad they didn't want a keyboard player. I would have beenhappy to do the gig. Oh well...
