Anyone who covers MacArthur Park is OK in my book. It takes realchutzpah to do that song!
Aside from the weird lyrics, it's a great piece of music.Story has it when Jimmy Webb wrote MacArthur Park no one wouldrecord it (The Association turned it down). So they found RichardHarris (a non-singing actor) to record it. The rest is history...
RH cannot remember a thing about recording it. Hardly a surprise.
