Perhaps, but selling to the absurd is really what eBay is predicatedupon. After all, was the whole edifice not founded on someone selling abroken laser pointer to someone...who collects broken laser pointers? Okay, so maybe the buyers wasn't 'misinformed' but he clearly hasmental health issues at least.

If someone prices something way above 'market value' and it sells, doesthat then become the new 'market value'? Isn't that the same way theyvalue houses? Nothing has any intrinsic #value' aside from what someonewill pay for it. The market is a matter of human will, not some kind ofuncontrollable beast we have to tame.

Pricing way above market value (40% above?) is a shitty way to tryto sell things. If he does sell it for that price, he will have takenadvantage of a misinformed buyer.
