I recently sold The Black Mellotron #386 to a new owner in San Francisco. I decided to give it one final overhaul before I sent it off. I have uploaded a photo-journal of the work done on it since I acquired it back in 2006 to the main list page in the photos section.
This was a really good machine that had unspeakable horrors done to it by Sound Sales. I have exorcised all of the demons that lay hidden in it and it is a great machine. For those that can view them, here are a few photos of the machine just prior to shipping. You can also see them many more on the Yahoo page. I installed clear Lexan panels front and rear at the owner's request although the originals have gone with it.
