If you need a great synthesizer , a sample player and the ability to combine both fairly fluidly then the Nordwave is good. The perfect sample player it is not. For some inexplicable reason the thing just has a (nearly) complete library of mellotron and chamberlin samples. It is also lightweight very well built and small. I am sure Markus’ thing will be a much better dedicated unit for digital mellotron reproduction.

I've  never seen a type B USB flash drive, so you probably need a PC and a USB  printer cable to load samples.  :-(
Also needs the Clavia sample library app to load the samples in their "proprietary format"...
