Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: The Mellotron Group

On the old list, someone had mentioned Elton John's 'Daniel' as having 'tron mandolin (easiest to hear on the last verse, where it's repeating the synth solo part). Is this documented anywhere? Or is there a giveaway at any point (other than the incessant strumming)?

Since it's so distant in the background, it would seem hard to make an ID on this. For what it's worth, 'Texan Love Song' (same album) has an actual mandolin track.
