EB pedals are the top of the class. EB, DeArmond, and Visual Sound (needs power) are the only serious volume pedals I have ever really seen.since the 70's. There are other OK ones but they are all have real issues: injection molded, too light, wide tolerances, pivot on the floor, need batteries, ac. Even the great reverse engineers at Behringer hosed this up. I believe that you need to be able to change, clean or service the pot and nominally adjust the throw (gearing) .
