Just had this comment posted on my youtube site regarding a short piece posted there: "mellotron is a dark creepy instrument. sounds like dead bodies are about to pop out the floor" A good description of the piece, but a bit hard on the tron although I can't think of any really happy cheerful mellotron music offhand.
