if you can stomach their constant whining. ;)

Isn't it amazing how much they do whine?!?  It's a universal thing.  What about how psycho sopranos are? Cellists are spacy, bassoonists are torked up geeks, most, but not all trumpet players just need to be slapped, guitarists need to shut up and piccolo players (not flute players who play piccolo) are plain old scary....

We bass players are just chill.

Actually, Bernie, that's my mellotron you're listening to, I believe. It was used for several of the libraries recordings when it was back in England for a spot of fixing up in 2001.

There are two notes (C2 being one of them ) that are rather painfully out of tune, to the point where I don't use them. Also, if you think this viola sounds good overall, than I'd suggest listening to more violists -- if you can stomach their constant whining. ;)

It's a lovely-sounding instrument in the right hands and if it's recorded properly.

Believe me, we can do better than this.
